What is a USDA Loan?

Eugene Mortgage Brokers Logo

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) plays a huge role in food safety, nutrition, agriculture, and plant inspections, but they go beyond this by helping families in rural areas become homeowners with loans.

USDA Loans are designed to aid in building stronger rural communities for an improved quality of life.

USDA insures loans outside of larger towns and cities in Oregon so that homebuyers can purchase loans with lower than market rates. There are income restrictions so that the loan is available for working class buyers and families and there are certain parts of Oregon where the loans can be used.
